What is nano-liposomal technology?
Liposomes are microscopically small spheres formed of a phospholipid double layer – the same building material that makes up the membranes of all body cells. Inside, they carry an aqueous core. This lets them transport both: water-soluble ingredients in the core, fat-soluble ingredients in the membrane.
Nanoliposomes are the next evolutionary step: at a size of only 20–100 nanometres they are considerably smaller, more stable, and absorbed by the body far better than classic liposomes or unprotected nutrients.
Roots in cutting-edge research
Liposomal encapsulation of active substances was developed and perfected over decades in human medicine. Today it ranks among the most advanced transport systems for sensitive compounds – from cancer research to the modern mRNA vaccines, which are based on related lipid nanoparticles.
The principle behind it is always the same: the active ingredient is enclosed in a protective lipid shell, carried safely through the stomach, and released where it is needed.

Why this works in dogs and cats too
The cell membranes of dogs and cats are built from the same phospholipids as our own. That is why the advantages of nano-liposomal encapsulation also apply to our four-legged companions:
Protection from digestion
Many valuable nutrients are partly destroyed in the stomach by acid and enzymes before they can take effect – well meant, but wasted. The lipid shell protects them along the way.
Better absorption
Thanks to their nano size and membrane-like structure, the liposomes merge easily with the cells of the intestinal lining. The nutrient arrives – instead of being excreted unused.
Smaller amounts, full effect
What is absorbed better does not need to be overdosed. That is gentler on the organism – especially important for small animals.
Liquid form
No tablets, no struggle: the elixir is simply mixed into the food. Even with fussy cats.

Out of this question, NanoLipoX™ was born – our own nano-liposomal platform. Every PetElixir™ formula is developed in Vienna and produced in small, controlled batches with pharmaceutical care. We encapsulate selected, documented branded raw materials in nanoliposomes – so that good ingredients truly become effective support for joints, immune system, digestion and vitality.
