No stiff gait. No hairballs. No calling at night. Nothing that would need to be checked.
This product is meant for that cat – and that is why it is the hardest one to write about. It solves no problem. It is meant to ensure that fewer of them arise later.
Why this formula exists at all
A good complete food covers the needs of a healthy cat. That is the honest starting point, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something.
There are, however, situations in which an additional supply makes sense:
- B vitamins are water-soluble. What is not needed immediately is lost through the urine. Cats produce a lot of urine.
- Taurine the cat can hardly produce itself and constantly loses through its bile acids.
- Home-cooked or varying feeding is harder to balance than an industrial complete food.
- Older animals use nutrients less efficiently than young ones.
- Phases of strain – a move, a new cat in the household, recovery after a procedure – increase the need.
What is in it
Taurine and L-carnitine for energy metabolism and muscle cells. Complete B complex. Coenzyme Q10 for the mitochondria. Prebiotics (inulin, FOS) for the gut flora. Zinc and copper as bisglycinate in a 10:1 ratio. Omega-3 from fish and algae oil, moderately dosed – around 130 mg per day.
The active ingredient density is deliberately lower than in our targeted formulas. That is not economy but the purpose: this product is meant for continuous use, not for a phase.
If you are already giving one of our other formulas
Then you generally do not need this one in addition. Nieren-Flow™, Verdauungs-Balance™, Gelenk-Fusion™ and Cardio-Core™ already contain the supporting building blocks. Please do not feed several oil supplements in parallel without discussing it with your vet.
